FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What services do you offer?

We provide fractional Chief of Staff services designed for business leaders who need both strategy and execution. Our support includes organizational alignment, team communication, and project coordination, as well as day-to-day leadership support like managing priorities, planning, and follow-through. We also assist with travel and small-scale event coordination when needed, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while you focus on leading.

2. What is the difference between fractional and interim work?

Fractional support means we partner with you on an ongoing basis for a set number of hours each month, giving you consistent Chief of Staff support without the cost of a full-time hire. Interim support is temporary and often full-time, designed to fill a gap during a transition or until a permanent Chief of Staff is hired.

3. Are you a virtual assistant service?

No. We’re not a task-based virtual assistant service. Stirling Executive Support provides fractional Chief of Staff support—strategic, organizational, and leadership-focused. While some work happens virtually, our role is to partner with you at a higher level, not just complete individual tasks.

4. Is Stirling Executive Support a virtual or in person service?

We believe that in order to assist you in the best way possible, collaboration is key. While we are open to working strictly virtually, in order to get to know you best and provide the highest level of service, we want to get to know you and your team. This partnership is generally best served by a hybrid model, but depending on the client, can also be facilitated virtually.

5. Why not use AI?

AI is useful for certain tasks, but it cannot replace the trusted partnership and strategic insight of a Chief of Staff. We bring context, judgment, and personal connection, which technology cannot replicate.

6. What is the difference between an executive assistant and a chief of staff?

At a very high level, the main difference is that an executive assistant's primary focus is on managing the leader’s day-to-day tactical needs. A chief of staff also exists for the leader (not the organization) but oversees strategic initiatives, coordinates team efforts, and supports high-level decision-making.

7. How do you ensure client confidentiality?

We take client confidentiality very seriously and have strict policies in place to protect sensitive information. Our team members sign non-disclosure agreements, and we use secure communication tools to ensure all client information is kept private.

8. How much do your services cost?

Our services are offered on a monthly retainer, starting at 40 hours per month. Packages scale based on the level of support you need, whether 40, 60, or 80 hours monthly. We will work together to determine the right fit. After an initial consultation we will work with you to determine your specific needs.

9. How do I get started?
